Registration for the entrance examination for Year 7 entry in September 2018

Registration for Year 7 Entrance Tests for entry in September 2018 has now closed.

For those who have registered their son to sit the entrance tests at Reading School, you will receive an email containing information about the entrance test day and the registration form on or after 3rd July.

If there are any changes regarding your son’s personal information, please let the admissions office know by emailing: quoting your son’s full name, date of birth and Unique Reference Number.

Registration after the deadline

Late applications will be not be accepted.

However, applications that are received late because of exceptional circumstances may be considered, if received before 31st December 2017. Any such candidates will be tested in January 2018. The final decision on whether there are exceptional circumstances will be made by the Director of Admissions at Reading School. In this situation, please email

In order to submit your registration you will need:

1. A valid email address.
2. Access to a computer or tablet; registration cannot be completed from a mobile phone

Please ensure you save or print a copy of your registration form once you have submitted it as you will not be able to retrieve it at a later date.

The closing date for registration for entry into Year 12 in September 2017 was midnight on Friday 27th January 2017. Any applications received after the deadline will be treated as a 'late application'.
